- Aspect of Ego can’t get you Mythron rarity minions (which is maybe alluded to by the patch notes saying that they’re “excluded from any pool of generation”). The main place this matters is that eggs are always turned into Rae and not Hideatsu.
- The patch notes 1.96 said that Ego will never turn a creature into itself but that's only partly true. If there’s no other non-token, non-Mythron minion of the same cost (e.g. for Rae, Mandrake, and Blood Taura at most higher life totals), then the spell doesn’t transform into a new instance of the minion but instead does nothing at all.
