Spawns one minion egg of each rarity (common, rare, epic, legendary). You can mouse over eggs to see what they will hatch into (it only shows the name, though)
Strategy[ | ]
Chrysalis Burst is a weird card, due to its extremely high inconsistency. The card combines two different random effects, since the minions spawned by the eggs are chosen randomly, as well as the locations of the summoned eggs. This randomness may produce massive swings in the equilibrium of the game: if the most valuable eggs are spawned next to enemies, the card is underwhelming; if instead the eggs with massive threats are put in safe places, the value generated by the card can be so high to immediately lead to victory, e.g., when it generates a powerful sticky minion like a Silithar Elder. Another drawback of the card is its vulnerability to AoEs: any effect which hits all minions for at least one damage may negate the effects of Chrysalis Burst. For these reasons, the card rarely sees competitive play.
