- If you have Avalanche in your action bar early in the game this minion can be purposely used to scare your opponent away from his side of the board (3 health makes it hard to remove and 4 attack often leads to cost-effective exchanges).
- In the early game, try to position Crystal Cloaker and the enemy so that you can move to the enemy side, and use Frostfire to upgrade it, which gives it 7/4.
