- Echoing Shriek only works on minions which cost 2 or less mana. For that only the mana cost on the card counts not any discounts (e.g. Darkfire Sacrifice, Flash Reincarnation, Golem Metallurgist, Skywing).
- Skywing is a special case though. Somehow Skywing still discounts the mana cost of all nearby flyers on the board, meaning a Wings of Paradise next to a Skywing would be transformed by Echoing Shriek.
- A twice replaced Astral Crusader would also be transformed.
