Opening Gambit: Deal 3 damage to BOTH Generals.
Strategy[edit | edit source]
Flameblood Warlock is a staple in Aggro lists. Its offensive statline presents the oppurtunity of inflicting close to ten points of damage to the enemy General in two turns. However, playing this card early informs your opponent of your deck and gameplan, allowing them to adjust quickly. Further, this minion is highly vulnerable to pings (Bloodtear Alchemist, Sphere of Darkness, Abyssal Scar, etc). While powerful yet risky in the early game, Flameblood Warlock is a useful card mid to late game as well. Since its effect is a nonconditional 3 damage to the enemy General, players often hold to Flameblood Warlocks drawn later in the game to push lethal.
