Structure minions cannot move or attack and can not increase their attack. With the exception of Bastion and Bloodfire Totem, all Structure minions are the Vetruvian obelysks which produce Wind Dervishes, 2/2 minions with Rush.

Notes

  • A dispelled obelysk no longer produces dervishes, but still cannot attack or move, and continues to occupy its terrain space until it is destroyed.
  • This is because "structure" is a tribal status - and a minion's tribal status cannot be dispelled.
  • Obelysks can have additional effects, such as giving dervishes a boost to their stats.

Strategy

  • Obelysks will spawn a dervish in a random location nearby, so positioning your Structures to have the highest likelihood of a profitable dervish summon is key.
  • You can control the randomness of the dervish spawn by placing units in locations that you do not want the dervish to be summoned.
  • Structures also make great path blockers to the opposing general. Putting a such a minion right in their line of retreat can be a serious positional benefit.
  • As they have no attack, also being unable to gain any attack points, it is recommended not to place a Structure on the frontlines as they have a hard time defending themselves alone.
