Vaath's Bloodbound Spell is called Overload and increases his attack by 1. This buff can be dispelled though.
Vaath the Immortal is a heavy hitter due to being able to buff himself endlessly, which can make him a big threat to most small minions and other generals.
Strategy
- Having a few cards that can heal your general is a good idea to have in your deck (like Earth Sphere), due to him being able to deal a lot of damage and therefore also using his face often to clear minions.
- Vaath is often his own win con by doing favourably trades with enemy minions and generals. There are several cards which increase attack and are a good fit for Vaath (e.g. Drogon, Cryptographer, Adamantite Claws, Vaath's Brutality, Bounded Lifeforce, Grandmaster Kraigon,...).
- But the attack buffs are easy to Dispel and Vaath needs to be close to be able to attack. If your opponent can keep his distance to Vaath (e.g. Provoke, Stun), you will have a hard time finishing the game.
